The weekly perspective

One question to ask yourself

What makes my life so fulfilling?

Step out of the grass is greener, the comparison, the imposter syndrome, the scarcity and the darkness for just a minute. Journal for 5 minutes - make a list and maybe even delve deeper into considering, what makes your life so fulfilling? What would life look like without that?

Something to consider

Your problems are valid. AND the world is on fire. Both can be true. One doesn't invalidate the other, whilst one offers a perspective for our problems

I've been struggling a bit with the dystopia of the world at the moment. The dichotomy between a timeline of transformation pictures and the heartbreaking reality of the world. How can these 2 things be so 'normal' at the same time? I don't post the contributions of binge breakthrough to the children of Gaza or often speak of the absolute atrocities in the world, but I'm aware many readers of this email don't allow themselves to consider what's truly going on, or 'get too political'. I'd love you to take 5 minutes this week to learn a little more about what's happening - maybe there's a way to help you hadn't considered. Maybe that just looks like using your voice. No pressure but rather, a gentle reminder that our voices and actions can have impact

One thing I'd tell my younger self.

Stop dating people for the societal ego hit of doing what is expected of you & ask yourself, would I really choose to spend my time with this person & make this relationship work if society didn't celebrate it?

Sorry for the Monday morning attack that requires very little further explanation. We focus a lot of 'self help' chat around the fear of being single, but I wonder if you've considered this as a reason you're feeling unfulfilled despite 'ticking the boxes'? Yes I'm referring to relationships here, but I wonder where else this might apply to your life?

One thing to try this week

Master one thing only

You've got so many things to achieve this week, so many habits to change all the damn time, so many good intentions. Problem is when you do this, you dilute your efforts towards each thing and end up far less likely to achieve it. This week, focus on one habit only that you want to do more of, or do less of - be intentional with it, master it

Please share your favourite stuff.

Thank you all for continuing to share your favourite Monday email quotes. I see them all. I know how much I love seeing impactful quotes from strangers, so it means a lot that you allow me to hopefully be that person for someone else. f there's something you really relate to or know someone who'd benefit from something in this email, please share it and pay it forward. Words are magical, and if I've learned anything from writing these emails to you for years, you never know when someone needs to hear the exact thing you've got to say.
