The weekly perspective
One question to ask yourself
What are you willing to give up, in order to have what you really want?
Journal on this - are you holding on to the belief that you can do it all, all at once? If you had to (which often, you will), what would you be willing to give up to achieve what you want? Example. I couldn't have built my business without working 7 days a week for my entire 20s to get the skills and experience I needed. I couldn't have started dating more if I hadn't given up working every single day. Be brutally honest with yourself.
Something to consider
"The most difficult times for many of us are the ones we give ourselves" - Pema Chödrön
Journal on this - how much of the suffering or pain you feel right now is a result of the way you speak to yourself, the stories you tell yourself, or the actions you continue to take that no longer serve you?
One thing I'd tell my younger self.
"You gotta stop wearing your wishbone where your backbone ought be" - Elizabeth Gilbert
I was reminded of the incredible Liz Gilbert this weekend and found myself B-cup deep in her words again. I don't think this really needs much explanation, but rather, a moment of reflection.
One thing to try this week
Set a timer for 20 minutes every day and dedicate that 20 minutes to a task you've been avoiding that will add to your life
A hard work task maybe. Or maybe journaling. Or meditation. Or yoga. Or sitting in silence. Or writing. Or calling that person. Watch what those 20 minutes every day bring to your life. Watch what you bring to your life.

One more thing...
Please share your favourite stuff.
Thank you all for continuing to share your favourite Monday email quotes. I see them all. I know how much I love seeing impactful quotes from strangers, so it means a lot that you allow me to hopefully be that person for someone else. f there's something you really relate to or know someone who'd benefit from something in this email, please share it and pay it forward. Words are magical, and if I've learned anything from writing these emails to you for years, you never know when someone needs to hear the exact thing you've got to say.
