45 Seconds That Will Actually Bring You Pleasure

I went from crying with laughter to crying with sadness,
If you haven’t attempted Jimmy Fallon’s whisper challenge on zoom then you haven’t lived,
It was quite the colourful day yesterday,
I felt the full spectrum of human emotion,
Some might say.

Because of that,
I know I’m not showing up at my best for you,
So instead,
I’m showing up quickly,
With 10 things to remember as we enter the final week before Christmas.

  1. The release of energy & resentment that comes from forgiveness is a radical act of self-care. Is there someone you can forgive this Christmas?

  2. You can choose how you talk to yourself. Are you giving yourself the same Christmas love and grace that you give others?

  3. Often the most loving thing you can do is to love someone from afar. You don’t have to spend extra time with people, just because it’s Christmas.

  4. If you gain a few kg, is it really the worst thing in the world?

  5. Do you really want to give away hours with loved ones by over thinking your food choices or doing extra time in the gym, when both of these things offer no benefit to your health or body?

  6. Stop trying to control those around you, convince them of your beliefs or ways of being. Your views are yours alone. So much of your suffering comes from trying to change peoples’ minds (or indeed, change them full stop). Allow people around you to be as they are

  7. You will enjoy the festive period infinitely more if you incorporate a gratitude practice into your day. Maybe even more if you include others

  8. You will enjoy the festive food infinitely more if you take 5 deep grounding breaths before you eat your meals

  9. This is a 2-3 week period of your life. It might be the last one you get with those you love. Spend it wisely. Those memories will be the thing that bring you relief and joy when they no longer can

  10. For the love of god, eat your breakfast

Oh,
And number 11,
If you haven’t quite managed to do it on your own this year,
Change your life in 2024 by saving your spot to work with us in January / February.

It's been wild how many applications we've received from you already saying you applied in spring,
And now you're ready,
And to be frank,
Hi frank,
I don't want you to waste anymore of your precious time.

See you on Monday,
Em x
